Great numbers. But if you get on it too much it's gonna blow sooner or later.

LOL.

Yea, I'd be taking it a bit easy now ... although I'm sure it's a bit tough to resist getting on it all over town. I hope to get my own KB setup soon, but that whole stock internals issue has been something I've been concerned with a lot lately.

Awesome numbers. That 400rwtq so low is amazing.

Amazing? Try frightening! 400 Lbs of Torque down that low is almost at idle!!
That damm car is making more power sitting still than mine makes going down the 1320 at full throttle

I don't see the before numbers, so in your opinion were the longtubes worth a decent gain for the PITA they were to put on?

the before numbers are 407 rwhp and 402 rwtq so yea it was a decent gain, still running as safe as possibe and the car is now sleeping for the winter while I save for my short block. hoping for a nice new motor in my stocking hehe. I know it is going to blow up but still very impressive numbers for only 9 lb's of boost

Nice numbers and yes I'm envious in many ways . However, you don't really need to replace the block or the crank as the stock ones can handle up to 500+...it's the pistons and rods that are the issue...and forged pistons and rods are gonna be less than a shorblock.

But should you want to get a shortblock, you can get some extra ponies just by upgrading to a performance one. Check out DSS for all your block and internals needs...great site and once I move from the dreaming world to the actually putting some serious power in my stang, then I'll be going to them

this is the most recent one I have. I am planning on a low compression motor for lots of boost with the KB 2.2L kit, but that is way down the road.
