New Numbers

Tonight I got some new numbers for my 5.0... Don't get too excited, its nothing wild at all, I've just built it to be a good daily drive with enough power to get around stuff. That will change eventually..

Anyways, these numbers are at the flywheel as we did this on a engine dyno, after a bit of fine tuning I came out with 290hp @ 5500 rpm and 312 ft-lbs @ 4500 rpm.

So I guess factor in, what, like 20% of that power lost to the transmission and I'll get around 220-230 hp and like 240-245 ft-lbs of torque.

I'm actually pretty happy with the results, I know its nothing special but oh well. I sure was afraid that sucker was going to blow during the pulls though, it got wound right out.

Anyways, I'll be sure to do more modding in the future with a new shortblock and let you guys know what I come up with!

you'd likely have more then that, I thought it was more like 15% on a t5ed car. You should dyno, I'm gonna guess 253 rwhp

The motor has got a MSD Distributor as well as a blaster coil and ignition, taylor 8mm plug wires, A K&N cone filter, dunno what kind of headers, a/c and smog delete, and e7's with a bit of port work as well as in the intake.
