New O2 Sensor questions?

What kinds of differences did you guys notice after replacing yours....my car has 117k on it right now and i was thinking about replacing them before i possibly hit the track next week. id imagine the car would probably run cleaner emissions wise....maybe get better gas mileage....is that what i should expect? i dont think its going to make up for any power loss i may have on my current ones with this many miles right?

my car had 125k on the odometer before I changed out the oxygen sensors for the first time :rlaugh: FWIW, I picked up the NTK's at summit racing for about $35 a piece and they work great. As far as improvements are concerned..........I noticed my gas mileage has improved quite a bit along with better throttle response.

Check yours with a DMM to find out how each is doing. You should see it switch from 0.10 to 0.90 volts atleast once a second (this depends upon the meter, as some seem to try and avg the readings, which makes the display lag). As they age, they lose amplitude and frequency. If one is locked at some given reading, that's a good sign it's bad.

Good luck.
