Just thought that I'd post some pictures I took while installing some new o2 sensors.

So far so good. I took it on a little drive after the install and no CEL comes on now. Hopefully, this solved my issues.

I'm hoping this will solve my issue of my car almost stalling when shifting into gear from park.

That's why I asked, from the pictures they are white colored which means lean. If they were caked black you will get codes for a rich condition. If you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you can turn up the fuel pressure a few psi. Should take care of your lean condition. Have you checked your fuel pressure?

Set to 38psi. I bet yours is lower than this.

No I have not. Does this require an adjustable fpr to do? I also what to check my timing to make sure it is set right.

Yes, you'll need adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Check to see where it's at first. The schrader valve in on the fuel rail. You'll need a timing light to check timing. I'd set it to 12 degrees. Do you know how to do this?

I have watched a few videos on this and it seems pretty straight forward. Disconnect the spout connector, loosen the dizzy bolt, and turn it (can't remember CCW or CW) to the desired number without causing pinging. I mainly just want to check to make sure it is at least at the stock 10*. My main concern is that my balancer is so rusted/dirty that I cannot read the numbers very well. Would I need to run a higher octane with 12? I just run 87 now... Any other tips as well would be appreciated. This is a learning experience for me. Thank You.

Take some emery paper to the HB to clean off the surface rust and use a piece of chalk to highlight the 10* mark. This will give you a reference point. You may be able to chalk other degree marks as well. It should run well on 87 octane at 12*. Don't go above 14*. After it's been set drive the car to ensure it isn't pinging. If it is pinging back off 1* and test drive again.
