hey guys...i have a 1990 50...and i ordered a 5.0 oil pan kit from ford racing...the right part number was stamped on the box, and it said it was for 87-95 mustangs...ok...the pan is the right sump..but does not have a low oil sensor bung!!!?? what do i do about that?!
also..the dipstick is alot longer than the stock one i had..BUT the tube is shaped alot more curving its like an S...and i guess it evens itself out that way compared to the stock..but the top of the handle says ENGINE OIL..compared to my stock one that jus thas a yellow hook....
is this what u get now for new parts or what?!! help me out guys...

Just clip the wires for the sensor, those things unfortunatly almost always leak anyways. If the dipstick is longer but will fit for your application and clearance, just on first start up mark the dipstick with a center punch of the correct level after you add your 5qts, also put a mark about .25" below it so you know when it is about 1qt low. You could also most likely re-use your old dipstick just be sure to check the level to make sure it is right after adding oil.

ahh thanks man..so all i do is cut off the wire that goes to the sensor..and cap it off or wrap it up?! thast all?!! is that thing better off getting rid of anyway? wont it SET OFF the CHECK ENGINE OIL light constantly then?>! u would think it would...
this dipstick and tube say it fits 87-95 5.0s so i guess thats why it doesnt look like my stock one...its universal...so it should work??? i didnt think the sn95 **** was the same?

It will not set off anything in the check lights...........

I've done this for everycar I have installed a racing pan or Canton pan on with no issues at all, except now I never see any leaks...

hmm...so all u do is cut the wire right..thats it? and no engine light..
wouldnt it think ur having no oil and go off lol??? i believe you of course..just scary haha...
hey also..mike of Thumper heads...cause i got thumper heads..sent me a timing chain and gears...its a SPX Filtran...are these any good??? the bags said made in china..and i was really turned off by that..bigtime...can i trust it?? it has a 9 keyway sproket

Cut the wires and tape off the ends and wrap them back up into the harness.

I have no expeirence with the SPX, nor have I ever heard or seen one, I'd ask Mike.

I personally use the Billet Crane's or the Billet models FTI carries, also nice pieces but they are between $90-$100
