Been here since 2014, but not active really. Used to post a decent amount on the Foureyed board.
Anyway, have orig owner 86 Capri 5.0/5 Spd with HCI and turbo. Also have 84 LTD
with blown 331, Lentech AOD, Mk VII 5 lug/brakes etc...

What's funny is I also own a Stang, 21 GT500 CFTP, but "no one" really cares about that one, LOL!!

Looks like you have a "fleet" like me, where one doesn't get nearly enough time to enjoy them, vs fixing (upgrading, etc..).

Thanks, got it for track use. Figured with 10 or so "projects", wanted something that I could track without having to fix it.
Have done mild IRS upgrades and 4 point/harnesses, but that's about it.
So far it's lived up to the hype.

I did design and build my own kickers on the "4 point", as I did not want to drill holes
in $100K Shelby. I used Fatman's S550 main hoop (as that bolts in), and made my own "kickers"
that bolt into all 6 points, where rear seatbelts mount. Figured those were strongest
areas.

Funny. My mom has a 78 Granada that my brother and I eventually put a 302 in.
He went to the Univ of DE, and I guess they have some parking lots with different elevations.
Ended up another student drove right through a guardrail and their car ended up on top of his.
And that was the end of our Granada "adventure".........
