new(old) seats install today

new(old) seats borrow from werck BMW. Have to remove the box underneat though. Will that effect body strength-stiffness?

I believe it will remove a lot of body strength form your car. I'm not sure though if it can be added back by simply adding some subframe connectors? Possibly adding the subframes along with one of those center sections which connects both sides together to resist twisting. Look at the Total Control Products website for an idea of what I'm talking about.
But again, I'm not sure if adding those will bring back that body strength?

The subframe is a good idea I will find some local shop to estimate such work. It should be at least half the price TCP was selling. The"weld in a fab'd support brace" also seem to replace the seat box nicely. Thank.
