well I just got it. It's already sitting at the shop getting flowmasters and x-pipes installed along with an oil change and plugs/wires/cap/rotor, fuel filter and air filter. I DO have a few questions though...
Does anyone have a digital copy of the service manual or know of a place where I can download it?
The transmission has some shifting issues. when left in drive it seems to stay in 2nd, then under light accel, go to 1st, then back up to 2nd and 3rd. When putting the shifter to 1st gear it runs fine, then shifts to 2nd smoothly, then almost seems to slip a little when moved back into drive. altogeather the trans seems to shift smoothly, but just doesn't seem to know what gear to be in.
Could this be a simple issue such as bad vaccume source/regulator to the trans?
The engine is a rebuilt 289 with mild performance parts installed. I don't think the camshaft installed (summit racing street/strip stage 1 or whatever) would warrant a higher stall, but I'm still pretty new to old school so...
