Well, I finally made the purchase. I now have an 04 Competition Orange Cobra conv. living in my garage. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on it. I actually scored it under invoice and have had a huge smile on my face ever since. Awesome ride. I love the fact that everyone wants a piece of it and all they get is the "COBRA" view from the back....

I look forward to hanging in the SVT forums and picking up some good tips and mods.

Welcome. Now, know that I hate you because your car is:

1) New
2) Much faster than mine
3) Much easier to mod than my own.

Lawman85 - Congrats on your new snake! I know how geek'd I was with my 01 used. I can only imagine w/an 04

. . . and yes, everyone will look at you a little differently. Almost a new found road authority, and proving your "role-on-the-road" is only the beginning.

Welcome to the forums and Congratulations on a beautiful new Cobra . Have you owned any other Mustangs before this one? Is it fast enough for you ? And give it a week and I'm sure you will want more power out of it which is soooooo not hard to do with the 03/04's.

This was the last Comp orange convertible for sale in Georgia. I saw one in Nashville and knew it was the color I wanted. I have digital pics but don't know how to post them. If someone can help out then I'll be happy to show them.

This is my 4th Mustang, I've had a 65 coupe, 85 GT and a 96 GT. The Cobra just turned 400 miles today!!

Congrats...I just picked mine up about 3 weeks ago too.

Either I get a thumbs up and "nice car" or they want to race.
However I do find that the people that always wanted to run my GT(ricer POS and SRT-4) are nowhere to be found.

Hmmmm....
