ok had new pads/rotors put on about a month or so ago, since I dont have a garage and live in an apt I had to have them done by midus. well they were squeeking when they got put on, took the car back said wtf, they said I had to put some miles on it, well nearly 2,000 miles later still squeel. what do I need to do?

Well, you could take a wheel off and see if they even changed the pads. I have seen some weird stuff happen when I used to work at a stealership.

Do both sides squeel? Front/Rear? .....

Yea I'd check that first.. doesn't Midas have a warranty? Otherwise, perhaps that little indicator thing that tells you when the pads are wearing out got bent somehow.

I brought in my own pads and rotors and watched them threw the window change everything, I dont ever let anyone work on my car without me watching, not even and oil change. and yes the squeel only happens under braking

have powerslot rotors, slotted and dimpled, and hawk ceramic pads. and as for the sound it happens everynow and then, not all the time that I stop. but say I stop 10 times on my way to work it will squeel 4-6 times. also it changes from passenger side rear, then driver side front, the driver side both front and back, all over the place.
