Lowering makes no difference in my opinion. I barely notice the change.

Looks good. Tires need some dressing, though.

Yes, you've made it clear that you're the sole person in the world who can't tell the difference in appearance when someone lowers their car. It still makes the car take the corners a lot tighter, so there are other benefits besides appearance.

I think it looks nice. More aggressive and I'm a big fan of the blacked out look.

Thanks everyone.

I don't know how you cannot tell the difference..... Maybe you need glasses

Anyway, back on subject.

I am going to purchase blackouts for my fogs.

I also want to either paint my rear and side GT logo's a black to blend in better with the car or hopefully find a place that sells GT logo's in different colors.

Yeah, that's not going to help. I posted this picture before, and it still wasn't enough of a noticeable difference to him.

To me lowering is the best appearance mod you can do to a s197 or sn95 mustang. The car looks goofy with the 4x4 suspension, looks like it's sitting on stilts.

I can spot a 1.5 "lowered mustang a mile away.

His car looks a hell of a lot better.

Dark,
By the naked eye, it looks like the rear of my car is slightly higher then the front. Is this the same for you and your setup? I am going to measure with a tape measure later today but wanted to see what you thought.

Thanks
Nick

Are you running the same tires on the front and back?

From the factory, these cars have about a .3-.5" or so rake. The Eibach Pro Kit removes .2" of that rake. To further get rid of the rake, I went with taller tires out back. If you look at my comparison picture, you'll notice there's more gap out back (also the springs had not settled, that was 20 minutes after lowering). Now if you look at this picture, the gap is the same, but I'm running a taller tire in the back.

I am running the same size rim/tire front and back.

I am guessing that must be it! I would go with larger tires out back, but my tires are only like a month or so old!

I just wanted to make sure it wasnt only me!

Looks great.

I was sitting at a light the other day and a panhandler sitting at the corner with a sign asking for help jumps up and says nice stang! Did you lower it? I immediately thought of 226embarcadero insisting that lowering makes no difference. Try some cheap wine out of a paper bag, maybe that will help you see it.
