hey guys, just wanted to get some feed back on this one car i acuired. Gunna build it over the winter for something to do! Wanna know what you think, and and is it even worth anything other than just being a reg 5.0 stanger. No pics yet sorry maybe some one could explain that one to me aswell. It's a 79 fox indy pace car, hatch back, with a sun roof, funtional cowl, and rear spoiler. Was originally a SVO 5 spd. but is now going to be a roller 302 HO, edelbrock torquer intake and 600 cfm carb, long tubes, o/r x pipe and flowmaster cat back 2.5'', msd 6al and blaster coil. The 7.5 rear still remains with a 4.10 limited slip, and a t5 in front of it. The car is very clean new paint (sivler 2 tone with blck on the bottom) which i personally don't like the hint of pink in the silver. (so no not orignal and still needs to be put back to getter a little) but looks good no rust in the car any where or dents. The drivers seat has a rip in the raccaro (or however you spell them) seats, and the head liner is falling down a little in the back. It has a newer style GT bumper skin, side skits and turbines, and new 295's in the rear. The car also has new shocks and struts, sub frame connectors, fr strut bar and an extra new window.

So tell me what do you think i know there aren't too many of these out there.

Thanx for the input

"I'm going outside to see if I can bag a moose"

Am I the only one who thinks that is CT material.

This is where I got the SVO from, I know they came on the scene in late '83, but sold as '84.

the "svo model" was in 4 years 84, 85, 85.5, and 86, the 79 was a carbed 4 turbo, while the others were efi, and it was a 4 speed, I dont think they switched to the 5speed was in like 84 I believe, they had the turbo 79 pace car, the 83 turbo gt and the 84 and then the svo models, the 83-88 turbo coupe and then the merkur xr4ti. The tranny thing, I know that the 79 was a four speed, from the factory and then im not sure when the t5 came into play, my 84 svo was a t5, so im thinkin the 83 turbo gt was the first one with it.

Ya well you know, i guess you always have a twin out there in the world somewhere they say. Not much i can do, you can take it up with my parents, and their parents and...

The funny thing is when i was in high school i took a lot of buisness courses and called all of my shop Daggars High Performance, who woulda known.

By the way why Daggs anyways?

And off that topic and back to the CAR, a little help please.

it is a pacecar so I am sure that it is worth slightly more than another car of the same year. really depends on the condition of the car, give us some pics.
