So I picked up a project car and wanted to get your advise and some pep talk to get me through this! It’s a 94, black on black.

I am feeling comfortable for the most part, but I have a few questions. Does anyone have a picture of there front engine with all accessories on it? I don't understand how they mount to the block. I'm planning on just running powersteering, alt, water pump - as long as that passes emissions (no smog)

I plan on going to the junk yard to pick up some accessory brackets but if anyone has any pics that would help too.

Does anyone have any advise on anything I should do before I bolt the tranny on and plop the engine in there to. Ideally I'd like to get it right the first time. The problem is, I brought this in pieces and didn't remove the engine myself nor have I even really looked at the engine compartment in depth on a 5.0.

Heres the following pictures of my progress:

Heres some actual pictures of the black. Couldn't get pictures of the other black because the doors were locked.

I actually figured out how the brackets work - no need to post any pictures. Any advise before I lower-er down would be cool.

I've always put the tranny on and then dropped the tranny/engine in the bay at the same time.

and don't get the mounts backwards like some dummy did............that'd be me btw

Thanks. I ensured that my mounts were on correctly before I mounted them to the block. I know when I was working on my truck (97 Ranger) it didn't allow me the room to attach the tranny and engine together so I was forced to lay on my back and put it in that way. Not so much fun. I'm hoping to get the bay cleaned up this week and drop in the engine / tranny combo next weekend.

I have NO idea... its what came with the valve covers (Anderson Ford Motorsports) If I run into issues than I'll figure out something else that will work. I have some 19lb ford motorsport injectors that I'm not sure of the condition. I am debating if I should pick up a stock MAF and get these flow tested and cleaned (128 bucks) and try that out. Any opinons?

If you are going to spend money on injectors, dont spend them on stockers. Get some 24# or 30#ers.

I wanted to go with 24lb'ers since I have GT40 heads so its similar to a cobra set up. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled on the classified section. I just don't feel comfortable putting injectors on without having them cleaned and flow tested.
