You know you've got a good point thats probably why he wanted to kick my butt that time when he was around 7 months old. He was having flashbacks of me putting tampons in his ears everyweek when he was a puppy

The male with the cropped ears above is my dog, he is currently just under 90lbs, that was a pic of him in his semi-awkward stage. He is now very built, and an absolute baby. I cropped his ears because they are needed for showing. American Pitbull Terriers DO NOT get their tails docked. They use their tail alot to show their emotions.

The cropped ears can make them look more aggresive, but in a world full of ignorant people who are clueless about pitbulls, it doesnt really matter if they are cropped or not, most people will still look down on them no matter what. All you can do is train them well, and be very very careful when they are around other dogs or people because any thing they do will be misinterpreted. I cant count the numerous time I have had other dogs(off leash of course) come up to mine snarling and nipping at my dog, while my dog sat there staring at it not reacting at all, then have the owner of the other dog come screaming at me to get my APBT away from his dog. lol

My other male is not cropped, they look awesome both ways. Lot of work to keep the ears healthy after the surgery. If you decide to have it done, let me know, I know a great vet that has done croppings for countless award winning show dogs, and they take very good care of them (blood tests before surgery, caphitor(sp?) during sugery, etc..).

We got these 2 miniature yorkies pavement specials last month in SA.

The 1st pic is when they were a day old, and the others are from 5th week.

I miss my dog so much. I sprung $500 and got myself an Italian Greyhound and named her Lily. She is such a badass dog. The neighbors I had at the time complained about her running around the apartment and yiping when we would put her in the kennel and leave so management told me I had to find her a new home. Luckily my parents came up to Beaverton and took her back to Bend with them. I get to see her and am glad she is still in the family.

Figures, the douchebag people below me moved not too long after the complaints were made. Pissed me off

My cousin had one of those when we were growing up. They are no doubt cool dogs, but man you have to be patient to deal with their high strung nature. He would get all upset when left in the kennel as well, but once he got out it was lap time Hope you get to bring it back someday soon, I know I sure miss having my dog around. I had a Newfoundland and those dogs are AMAZING.

Yea, she is a constant explosion of energy and is ALWAYS wanting to run around. One of the most amazing things is watching her run up and down the coastline chasing after the birds. It's amazing how incredibly fast that little dog is. I will get to see her in a couple days since I am planning a road trip to Bend and leaving Thursday morning when I get off of work
