Ordering a new radiator, more of a spare for the just in case. Gonna get a cheap one so I don't have a chunk of change sitting in the garage. Was thinking of picking this up Replacement Radiator Aluminum Core, Plastic Endtanks but what are those two inlet holes on the front of it? I know my radiator doesn't have those.

Thats weird....i was gonna say transmission or an engine oil cooler setup but....its on the front. Maybe its just a generic picture?

And have you priced out one from pepboys? Im pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty on them....

I got a stock replacement and it comes with those holes with a few adapters. My understanding is that it was for either a manual or automatic (but only used in an auto). I have a manual if that matters (I didnt use them).

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

That's a tranny cooler of some sort. If your radiator has a tranny cooler tank in it, you can just leave those holes blocked. Pep Boys is usually terrible about honoring their warranties. If you are going to buy a new radiator, this isn't a bad time to upgrade to a better one.

Yep, that's a radiator for an automatic transmission car. Those hookups are for the AODE tranny cooler lines. The radiator will work for you, but you won't use those hookups.

So if I got it I wouldn't have to block those off, I can leave them as is? Oh and I'm picking it up locally, it's cheaper.

Exactly, the tranny cooler part is self-contained. On an AODE car, it would contain tranny fluid - not good if it mixed with the coolant.

Alright. It wouldn't be till friday when I ordered it, found it online for $101 free shipping. I would love to upgrade to a better one, but this is what I can afford right now and I really don't see being able to afford anything else for the next 2 months, money is tight right now.
