Is that what a Saleen cost new then?, I find it equally crazy that someone paid 48k for it in ‘93.
They could be had cheaper, but this was pretty loaded as far as the options at the time were.Is that what a Saleen cost new then?
This is my thoughts. I'm looking at the white 1989 saleen vert on BaT. And it's already at 52k.If I had that sort of coin I would be parking a GT500 and a GT350R in my garage with some cash left over to buy an average Fox body.
But then again, like I was telling a friend of mine, if I won the lotto and had millions liquid burning a hole in my pocket, I would have been a bidder on that car.
But unfortunately I’m not that guy.
I talked to the wife and our next purchase might be a 18-19 GT350. They should hold their value, and it's something newer that I'd drive more often.
Easy, the 93 Cobra that continues to go up in value now, even if I put 500-1000 miles a year on it and insure it for a crap-load.I agree. $60k. Do you get a 93 Cobra you take out once in a while and am too afraid to drive, or buy a GT350 and romp on it? I know what I’d do
