I bought some Niche F18 rims today in the black with a chrome lip for my 05 GT which is silver. The fronts are 20x8.5 with a +20offset and a 245/35/R20 and then in the rear I got 20x10 with a +30 offset and a 275/35/R20 so I just wanted to see what you guys think I know they are probably going to stick out a tad but hopefully not too much I was thinking they will be almost even with the outside of the fender but I do want to see what your opinions are theyll be here monday so Ill have pics monday.

Ill have pictures as soon as there installed on monday but I was hoping some of you might know how they are going to look with the offset I mentioned above. Any comments would be awesome.

I think the 10" will need to be 40-45mm offset to fit properly, but since you already have them, try them and see. Also, post pics, as I want 19x11 and 19x9.5 to mount on mine. Herrrrreeee lotto, lotto, lotto

18 X 9 with +35mm OFFSET Front

18 X 10 with +45mm OFFSET Rear


This combination works. I've seen it. It looks perfect!!

Ya I know thats the offset that works but Im curious as to how its going to look with my offset. Is it going to look really bad or is it going to look ok. Being off by like 15 offset how will that affect the look.

I would think you'd should be more concerned as to whether there will be any rubbing...

Just an off the wall question, if he has too much offset, doesnt that mean that the center part of the wheel (where the wheel studs go though) is too thick, could he just have a machine shop shave off some?

school me if i am wrong

Just the opposite - too much offset means the center of the wheel is too far (inside the wheelwell) from the mounting surface. Shaving metal off the mounting surface, besides weakening the wheel and potentially making it wobble if it isn't perfectly flat, will *add* to the offset. In Silver05GT's case, he probably doesn't have quite enough offset, but I don't think it will look bad. Might even look kind of cool.

I've got +26 offset 18x9's with 255/45/18's (for another few days), and it sticks out just a little, but actually looks good (IMO).

Positive offset moves the hub mounting surface from centerline towards the outside (visible) face of the wheel
Negative offset moves the hub mounting surface from centerline towards the inside (not visible) face of the wheel. Deep dish looking wheels are negative offset
