New Rims/Tires for 96 Cobra

so im in the market for new set of tires/rims....im leanin towards 18x10 in rear and 18x9 in front. From what i know, this wont cause any rubbing issues, correct?
What tire size is reccomended for the above wheel sizes? and what brand do you guys prefer..car is a weekender/sometimes daily driver.


Also, what brand wheel/style do you reccommend? I am open to any suggestions, i currently have the 17x9 cobra r rims... i would love to stay with ford racing cobra r rims but i can only find them in chrome in 18x9.5...
American muscle has these SR Saleen style rims (never heard of SR-prolly weigh 60 pounds) but what deters me is the brand name and the fact that they dont sell the cobra emblem center cap to replace the SR with...

finally, im lookin to get spacers (i have heard 25mm should flush out rear tires with wheel well) but am wondering if the bolt on spacers from max motorsports are the ones i should go with and if they will cause any future issues down road

18x9 up front (chrome Saleen type)
Nitto NT555 265/35/18
18x10 out back (chrome Saleen type)
Nitto NT555 285/35/18

No rubbing
Could, probably should have gone a bit bigger in the back, but thats what the budget allowed

now when you say you could have gone bigger in back, what would you have liked to do if you had more budget?
also, do you like those Nittos?
