new rotors, new pads needed??

Well i purchased all 4 new rotors for my car....they should be arriving here tommorow....some say not needed and some say needed.....can you guys give me the cons and pros of getting new ones or leaving the old ones on.....

All I can say is those new rotors are going to be sweet

If I were you I would get brand new brake pads and not take a chance!
What kind of rotors did you get?

You don't NEED them, but i would.

If your pads have plenty of material on them i might consider taking them down slightly with a few passes on a belt sander.

i got a set of slotted and drilled rotors from rotorpros....ive only heard good things about them so far...i will see for myself....they should be arriving tommorow and will most probably install them tommorow as well....my pads still have about 3/4 of life left...thats y i was asking if to replace them or not....

How much were they if you don't mind me asking?

What type of pads are the best or really good?


Reason I ask is because I need new rotors and pads too ... well, I want em'

i got em for 240 shipped.....i heard hawk pads or green stuff pads are the best....

Cool, I'll check em' out. I gotta do something because one of my front stock rotors is warped and the other one is all etched up ... Did you just get the stock size (diameter)?

Will 05-06 work on my 98? They don't show rotors for my year .... maybe stupid question?.?..

yeah, i jus got the direct replacement....mine are pretty big already....no need to go bigger....my fronts are 13 inchers and my rears ar 11.65....i wil take pix of them tommorow and ill post em here so you guys can see......

well i just received them but wont be able to install them today...they called me to go in to work earlier.....but heres the pic for you guys to see....the right is the rear and the left is the front....

I also have heard the Hawk performance brake
pads are really good!

$200 for all 4...pretty damn good deal if you ask me. I know a few people who run them and they haven't had a single complaint with them.

yes they are from rotorpros.....i got all 4 for 189 with painted centers....i just installed them and my car looks great....its too dark now to take pix of my car.......i will take pix for sure tomorrow.....
