With the next generation mustang right around the corner and news of the big 5.8L beast in the Shelby being put out to pasture after one year. What do y'all think Ford should have done?
Maybe the 5.8 isn't being put out to pasture. If the Road and Track is to be believed a future GT350 engine will have a " higher displacement with be substantially more powerful then the next GT." To me it sounds like an n/a version of the 5.8L.
The GT-350, or whatever they're going to call it will have a bigger displacement engine based on the Coyote. The 5.8 is still Modular architecture which is ancient history
