Yea the flex hose is going to disapear as soon as possible. I couldnt find the OEM one so this is a temporary solution. Anyone know a good source for OEM 78 Radiator hoses?

To use an OEM 78 hose you'll have to change the thermostat hosing won't you?

I dont know, I used one with a 45' degree the OEM is a 90' I still have the OEM housing but would like to keep the chrome one. if the OEM hose will fit. Anyone know if it will bend enough to fit the 45 vs the 90?

I dimpled a FMS Chrome 90 so it works on mine.

I use a 45* housing in mine too. Just looks better. Just look for an upper hose for an earlier 302 car that has a similiar radiator, like a 68-70 Mustang with a 302. Be careful as alot of the Ford cars in '71 and on started using crossflow radiators. 66-67 Fairlane, Mustang would work too. It's the same upper hose.
