I just put new H&R SS and tokico(mach 1) s and s's on my car 3 weeks ago. While they softened up a little after the first week, they really softened up last weekend. I went up to a Mariners game with 2 buddies and was taking turns at about 85-90 on the pass on I-90 up and back. When I got home, it seems like the fronts are weaker, noticably. Was it the autocross style driving or would they have weakened like that anyway and its all in my head? BTW, I had a blast going around corners....handling well.

ss springs will ikely wear out those struts very quickly because of the 700+lb. spring rate up front. and the fact your car is lowered 2 inches. 87-93 tokico front struts will work better than your current ones if you need cheap replacements later on. You are likely just getting used to the shocks and spring combo after pushing on the car for a while,
edit: It should feel a little softer after breaking in but they should not be bouncing on bumps, those ar etw ocompletly different issues

I think it would be your struts and not the springs if anything were to be bad.

The mach 1 tockico's are valved for over 100lbs less spring rate and they are also not for .75 drop and not 1.75 drop.

I just say it because I have SS with bilsteins and drive my car like a stole it. I have 25k on my setup and it feels solid.

I've had the same springs and shocks as you on my car for about a month and so far they've been great. Can't believe the handling diffrence .

Bilstines or Tokikos? I'm looking to replace soon. I've mostly heard Bilstines, Bilstines, Bilstines. Any good words for Tokikos? What's the price difference? I've got a ride like you wouldn't believe. I think shocks/struts and LCT should make a big difference, but I'm not sold on one particular type yet.
