New SS pics

Hmm. The last SS I saw had both exhaust tips side by side, coming out on the left side of the bumper. What makes an SS so much different than a regular Z28?
maybe it wasnt a true SS then? I believe the biggest difference is an appearance package.

My buddy's SS had the 2 tips on 1 side, some of them actually came stock like that from what I understand

The difference is the hood, wing, badging, ram air... very little changes I believe

it would make sense considering on how they layout the exhaust system on them...as well with the trans ams and firebirds too...it all flows to the passenger side which starts the catback, into a muffler that brings it over to the drivers side as well...this all happens within the area of our fuel tank..its so weird

cliff notes: their catbacks look like an upsidedown 4

so it would make sense to out put two pipes on the same side instead of bring one over

Almost looks like an SLP edition. Scratch that, they're all made by SLP.

"A limited-edition 35th Anniversary Package is available for the SS coupe and convertible, which get final assembly by SLP Engineering. SLP has announced that the horsepower of the SS has risen by 20 hp to 345 horses. SLP claims that the Camaro accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. Buyers of the Camaro SS also get a grille with a center SS logo, either five- or ten-spoke wheels that hold 17-inch tires, a Bilstein ultra-performance suspension or 1LE suspension package, and a high-torque performance differential.
