Hey everyone, Just wanted to jump right in and be apart of the club. I purchased my 3rd foxbody about 2 weeks ago, and am loving every inch of it. It's a 93 LX coupe, beautiful body and interior, recently gone through and repainted. I can drive this thing for hours going from cruise-in to car shows all day long (Better on fuel than my pick-up as well!). The only thing I'm not too pleased with is the under-hood look, Definitely need to clean it up a bit, and give the computer a nice tune. I was thinking about doing the A/C delete, getting rid of the mechanical fan for an electric one, Maybe a new MSD coil & Distributor? I'm setting up an appointment to get the car chipped and Tuned on the dyno, and think those little things might help out some.

Anyways, I'm here reppin the Mustang world, just thought I'd share! Feel free to comment or leave suggestions!

Nice notchback, congrats

What is done to the car exactly? Chip tune might be a waste of money. MSD coil isnt a bad idea, MSD distributor is a waste if the stock one is working well tho. Deleting the AC is one of those things that i really regret. Even on a 75 degree day im sweating pretty good in my car, and you will not feel any more horespower with the AC gone.

Well she's got the usual mustang mods. 306 w/ X cam, Worked Windsor JR heads W/ 1.7 rockers, Port + polished 1" intake spacer w/ GT40 intake, 75mm throttle body, C&L Air intake tube, BBK full length headers + X-Pipe, 24 lb injectors w/ adjustable regulator. It's a 5-speed so its got the normal 373 gear swap, upper + lower controls arms, lowering springs, Ect...

It's not a strictly strip car, So it does the job for me. And the A/C accumulator and condenser have already been removed, so its useless to leave the compressor on there.

Nice coupe man. As for the AC I say leave it. Do some research on here and you'll see A LOT of people regret taking it out. There is no power gained from an AC delete. Just the weight. Skip the chip and get it dyno tuned. Anyways post some more pics! she looks great.

Very nice. I love the color. I agree with the above about the A/C and would try to put it all back in. Also, I have a taurus fan I am not going to use. I bought it last year and it has been sitting in a box in the garage. PM me if you are interested.

Reef Blue notch

Keep the A/C, I roast in the summer. And it seems that the majority of Reef Blue cars engine bays look dingy because of no clear coat and the years of grease; mine looks dull dark green.

Nice coupe! I regret removing my A/C so I say keep it on there. Either way congrats on the new ride!

Thanks guys. I live in New York, so not often does the weather hit above 90 so personally, the A/C has gotta go (plus over the winter I'm going to clean the engine bay up, hide wires, Ect...). No Big deal, everyone has their preferences (Just like the fighting over the 1-piece headlights compared to stock).
As for the tune, Theres a local race shop / mustang club that Will provide a custom chip, and 2 hours on the dyno to set the chip up right for $600. Seems like a pretty legit way to get the chip tuned to my specific set-up.
I took a pic of the engine bay, but it's kinda dark out which distorted the quality. Beggars cant be choosers tho =)
