It's funny....if you get an idea, just give it time and it's highly likely that someone else will beat you to it. I've thought about black center Cobra R's ever since they came out and ever since ROH started doing theirs painted in the centers....and now it looks like someone is making R's like that too.

I don't like that little dimple crap that goes around the inner black lip, but overall they're cool i guess. Not nearly as cool as i thought they might be, but i'd run'em.

That looks pretty good but is it a 16" wheel? I get a 5 lug swap and they're starting to make new 4 lug wheels

It was listed as a 17....i think the black makes it look a little smaller.

Yeah, wheels today are getting too complicated with all the dimples and stuff. I like 'em plain and simple!

Deep Dish will the only rim I run on my car from now on. I have some 18x10s, and LOVE having the dish out back!

they are cheap too, i got a set for 520.00 to my door with stems lugs and caps. they balanced out real nice also. i was worried about that.

I would be worried about cheap chrome plating more than anything....which is why i wouldn't buy chrome wheels. They are pretty cool looking in deep dish though.

actually these wheels came powder coated instead of painted enamel, which impressed me also. the chrome looks good for now. only time will tell with that.

85_SS_302_Coupe, did you find those on E-Bay? I've seen that style but they're always 5-lug. Not crazy about 4-lug R's but it doesn't stand out so much in black.

edit: OE Wheels, got it.

Yeah, just do a search for Cobra R rims....it was the first wheel that popped up. I had been talking about painting the centers but wasn't sure how to break up the spoke from the lip, then my buddy showed me those.
