New Subaru Legacy

I keep seeing the commercial for the new Legacy. They are AWD with 250hp. So, I am making a prediction that these things will be the new "hot" item for my generation to be ricing out and racing. What do you guys think of them? How fast do you think these things can run?

Are they the new four-door sedan? If so, I think they look pretty cool. I don't think people will pick this car to "rice out". If they have that kind of money, they probably will go with a WRX.

Same motor as an STi, detuned. Price is not far from an STi either, so I would expect anybody that is looking for power to just go ahead and get the STi and be done with it. Plus, the 2.5L STi engine is proving to be relatively weak, not a great candidate for modifications. Lots of them have already been blown up.

I've considered getting a new daily driver as I start modding the Stang again, and the new Legacy GT might be cool for that purpose -- it gets wet around here most of the year, and it should be pretty nimble even when it's slippery outside. And it's only $299/month .
