i need to put the power down better. i have strange struts, no sway bar and softer springs up front. for the rear i have mega bite jr lowers and umi uppers, pinion snubber and sub-frames.
i want to get strange shocks for the rear but i dont know anything about rear springs. what are some good drag springs for the rear?

here is one im looking at. does anyone have one in their car? did it help? do you have pics?

i will be getting a 3200 edge racing converter soon and a pms. after the pms i should have near 500rwhp. that combined with 3.73's i need to get the tires to hook.

by tires i hope you mean slicks. What kinda tires are you running. I see a lot of peeps recommend the ebiach drag springs. I haven't had any experience with them but thats what i have seen recommended the most. i layed down a 1.60 sixty foot with my suspension on slicks. i don't have adjustable struts or shocks just cheap kyb stuff. I have Ford racing progressive springs. i had the sway bar connected. only mod that helps in drag racing that i have is lakewood's traction action rear upper and lower control arms.

ya i have slicks for the track. on the street i just have standard 40k mile tire.

I have the eibach drag springs on my 92 and I have moroso trick springs on the 85. Honestly I get more squat of the 92. I believe they are both good springs worth looking at. My 92 is a stock suspension car with the exception that I'm running the eibach springs with fully welded torque boxes and subframes and it 60fts consistently in the 1.55 range with a 75 shot. The 85 has full tubular front suspension with coilovers(175lb springs) and megabite adjustable upper and lower rear control arms with moroso trick springs and it's a 331 car that leaving at 5,000rpms would consistently be in the 1.57-1.62 range. But I was still spinning a tad on the launch. That's some background on my setups.

i wish i had these setups. that would be insane. do you run your sway bar? do you have a air bag?

I don't run a front or rear sway bar. On the 85 I'm also using lakewood 90/10's up front with 50/50's out back. On the 92 I'm using stock struts and shocks. If you are referring to the air bag that comes with the eibach kit, I'm currently not using it.

i thought sway bar on rear was a good thing so that the rear end does not want to push out the driverside of the car.

With my rear end having welded axle tubes and torque boxes with full length subframes, axle twist is not an issue. I found that without the rear sway bar that the cars would settle down a little better on launch. With the sway bars they almost wanted to hop. The only thing that I have seen is that some cars with my setup will pull to the right a little bit on launch. I have seen a few cars have that problem corrected with the UPR antiroll bar. I haven't yet tried one, but I've seen great results from them.

yes thats what i was thinking about when i wondered about rear sway bar removal. there was a article a few months back in 5.0 mag i think. seems like that anti roll bar really works.

can you get just the eibach rears or do you have to get all 4 cause i just need the rears? have you ran the moroso springs on the street? summit says that they arent for street driving.

i looked at the upr anti roll bar. i think ill get that one but i sure as hell wont be installing it. ill have to go to this supsension place down the street
