This probably doesn't mean much to those who make it to the track or have access to a dyno. But it is one way for the rest of us to verify improvements. While stock my heavy convertible slowmatic ran 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds. (This was my best time using a G-tech). With the mods listed below, I am now able to do it in 5.7 seconds. I was hoping for more but I guess that this is a start.

Anyone know what that might translate into for a quarter-mile time? If it helps, my 60 ft time was 2.141 seconds.

Also, what do you think should be my next mod? Since traction is not a problem, I will probably start on the exhaust.

I tried that on mine, so far my best was a 5.05 but usally I get 5.2-5.3 ish, traction limited :(

Those gtech are a great way to test to see if your mods do anything. What kinds of 1/4 times are you getting off of that thing?

That's a great time. It must be the 5-speed along with the x-pipe.

I haven't run a quarter-mile time yet. I've been looking for an open stretch of road that is cop-free.

I ran 0-60 mph again this morning. The gas tank was about 1/8 full. My new time is 5.37 seconds. With a vehicle weight of 3770 lbs, the G-tech calculated my net horsepower to be 206.7 and my net torque to be 219.2. Net horsepower is lower than rwhp. Strangely, my stock time was 6.16 seconds with a calculated net horsepower of 199.6 and net torque of 244.2. According to the G-tech, I gained 7.1 hp but lost 25 ft-lbs of torque. I am starting to lose confidence in the G-tech, at least in calculating torque. Any explanations?
