It was pretty hot, not too bad but it sure as hell wasnt cold. First run did a 13.1 at 106, that was a big let down. I was pretty dissapointed at that trap speed. Then I pulled my car off and let it sit for a while. Came back with it not completly cooled down but nontheless cooler(like n-o in normal) That run i did this:

R/t.... .569
60'.......1.969
330'.....5.491
1/8......8.345
MPH;....86.14
1000.....10.779
1/4......12.797
MPH......112.71

I was pretty happy about that, figure with a 1.8 60' i could go mid 12's.
Then I randidnt let it cool down and I spun a lil off the line)
R/t...602
60'.....2.090
330...5.672
1/8...8.553
MPH....86.71
1000....11.036
1/4.....13.111
mph 106.23

Then I ran a 13.0 @ 106 with a 1.99 60' and lost the slip and then this.

R/t....544
60'.....1.969
330....5.503
1/8....8.371
mph////85.84
1000....10.833
1/4....12.870
mph ...111.77

Then I ran another 13.0 at 106. I go through the traps at like 5600. I dont get why sometimes it traps at 106 and sometimes at 112. Maybe my belt is slipping? Ive cut 1.90 60's before the blower/tb/headers but I havent raced since febuary so my skills are a lil weak right now. What could that be, different temps? 6 mph is a big difference. Race weight with me is 3330 approx. What do you all think? Im running a partial tune, im trying to get the tuner to fax my my dyno runs but he hasnt done it yet. Ill post those but my dyno numbers were all over the place too.I think it has mid 12's in it on a cooler night.

At 3330 and 112 traps, you've got the potential to pull high elevens.

Are you running on Nittos? If so, I wouldn't expect too much out of them until you get a lot more practice. Unless you are using a really wide tire with some suspension work done, Nittos aren't much more than a sticky street tire.

Keep at it. You did very good for the first time out.

Yes, 6 mph is a big change. personally,.. I think its WAYYY to much MPH to blame tempeture on. I would put my money on belt slipage. I can see losing one, perhaps two MPH due to heat, But not 6.

Joe this wasnt my first time, first time with the blower/headers/TB but not the first. Before all the mods just listed the best 60' I've cut is a 1.90. Im gonna keep going every wednesday till my times are consistant. Oh and I almost have enough for the methanol/laptop/tweecer so I can finally get this thing running right. For xmas im gonna try to get mom n pops to chip in a little for a tranny. 11's are my goal

Great times Kevin. No doubt you have mid 12's and faster the way the car sits right now. Just keep practicing. Do they treat your track at all? IF they do, you should be able to pull 1.7 60's on the nittos no problem.

I wouldnt buzz it much past 5300. 5500 tops (correction) I was thinking you still had stock heads, and cam.. my bad.

its hard to say,.. without knowing the specifics, it breaks down to trial and error... hopefully, without the error!!

If I had a little more information,.. as far as the combination of parts goes. perhaps.. if not myself, others here may be able to help you out.

Its hard to answer a "what should my car run" without having all the info.

dont mean to be a downer man, but, more info is needed.
