Some new times.

Still on the base JLT Induction tune from DiabloSport, will be getting a badass custom tune from Kevin MacDonald @ DiabloSport next week. Should definitely drop some time with it. Anyway, new best 60', ET and MPH on these two runs.

60' 1.624
330 5.028
1/8 7.807
MPH 89.03
1000 10.232
1/4 12.254
MPH 112.17

60' 1.683
330 5.082
1/8 7.844
MPH 90.19
1000 10.250
1/4 12.256
MPH 113.13

I'm pretty confident that with a Nitrous Tune I can squeek out an 11.9 pass. After that I will be starting on Suspension to aim for 1.5 60' Overall, I'm pretty content with the way the car (and myself) are performing on the stock suspension, stock shifter and at full weight.

Very nice! How much shot? 75?

For 75 shot, u change or gap the plugs and/or change tune?

I believe you were parked in front of me for the Miller's Jupiter show.

Nice ride

It a 100 shot on a "canned" tune. I gapped the plugs to .35 and removed 4* of timing.

Yeah that was me in front of you if you've got the white S197 Should've introduced yourself or somethin'.

Sick! So you use the stock plugs?

I ran a 75 shot a long time ago in a fox of mine, i remember i had to change the plugs as well as gap them.

That is cool did you remove the timing w/ a tuner?

Yeah that was me, I thought that was you. I'm kinda shy haha. Maybe next time!

Nice stang I was glad to be parked by another nice s197.

Who did you're gear install? I'll be looking to get 4:10's soon myself, this weekend my off-road hpipe goes on yippie!

I'm going to try to follow you're template to get into the 12's on motor.

you running drag radials or slicks? If Drag radials, what kind and psi?

I use M&H Drag Radials currently.

Sick! So you use the stock plugs? No, I use the Autolite HT0. I was going to try Brisk but I'm finding that the Autolites are just fine.

That is cool did you remove the timing w/ a tuner? I used the hand held Predator. It's very simple. As soon as I get my car back from Ford next week, I will likely be having a custom tune done @ DiabloSport.

Who did you're gear install? Mobile Mod Performance did my install. I work on the side for them as their Web Designer / Graphic Artist. Should've grabbed a card off of my windshield wiper! They do excellent work and I highly suggest you check it out. They've got a gear install special going on right now. http://www.mobilemodperformance.com

Give them a call, ask for either Carlos or Ronnie and tell them Joe (anticubicle) sent you!

I'm going to try to follow you're template to get into the 12's on motor. It's really not that tough to get these cars into the 12's but I know of several local guys with the same or even more mods as me that can't crack 13's.

you running drag radials or slicks? If Drag radials, what kind and psi? I was running on Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials. I netted a 12.9 on a 1.88 60' and then came back the next night sporting a friend's MT ET Street DOT slicks. On those I got a 12.818 on a 1.76 60' followed by several more 12.8's.

Since then, I've bought my own set of ET Street DOT slicks and net low 1.6 60' on them with the spray. I'm pretty sure once I get my suspension done, I should nab some mid-high 1.5's

.

Its all about the driver when you have mods.. you can have a 9 sec car and only run 13's cause your not skilled ! the best mod = GOOD DRIVER !
