Hey guys i'm posting my new times after i got my car fixed. last time i put a tq converter and gears and knocked .5 off my time to 15.2 90( i was mad, i thought i would have ran better). I wasnt slipping at all, i was runing 2.1 60' flooring right off the bat. This time i found out i had my fuel filter clooged so i replaced and i also got asp pulleys. My new times were 14.9@91.75, im very happy with that times knowing that i was getting 2.32 60'! I think with nitto 555r i can bring the 60' to about a 2.1 and run a 14.7-14.6. what do u guys think

Go after more hp. Drag radials might just bog you down....IMO..good stock # with an aod tho...You will be happier with the feel of the car freeing up some extra ponies and its still going to shave off some more time. See the free spin of your tires right now is putting you in the rpm power band. by the time your tires hook your momentum keep your power there. On the inverse you launch with drag radials and hook up your going to drop below your powerband and bog down.....You can get better #'s by a little more pratice launching I have not seen you launch but i bet you are leaving to high in the rpm. Good luck just my .02

That is better than I did

I got 15.3 @ 91 with the mods in my sig. I beleive I can get into the 14s though, especially if I had better traction.

were you stalling it up, or just taking off?

this time i couldnt stall as much as i wanted.I was powerbraking around 1600-1800 rpm, any more than that and i was spinning standing still. I'm trying to get a x-pipe becuase my best friend has a 3.2 cl s and he was running 14.6's. Im thinking i will beat him with a x-pipe and some grip, if not im just gonna put a street heat intake then im gonna be done wit this car(I want to start modding my 06 )

You should definately be capable of 14's....question for both of you guys though, did you notice a nice difference when going with the 3k stalls?

I actually just got my newly rebuilt and upgraded trans put in today. It also has a PI at 2800. I havent been to the track or anything, but let me tell you the car feels a lot faster than it used to, the shift kit also helps a lot.

i had a stock AODE, mac h-pipe, flows, CAI, 3.73s and street tires and my best time was a 14.711. i can't remember my 60' times, but i think you can get high to mid 14s with your combo after you practice.
