new timing chain...

 :nice: ok, fixed! FYI if anyone runs into this kind of problem, get out the dremel and slowly, carefully evenly and patiently grind away at the inside of the cam gear do a little at a time and keep trying to slide it on to the crankshaft until it goes on.... wallaaah done! this post is now closed :SNSign:

When you run into those kind things .......................

Emery cloth and a bit of oil will take the burrs off the edges of new parts.

Be sure to clean off the gritty junk ... real good :nice:

When you go on with the new parts ....................

Antiseize is a pretty good choice of slick-um :D
