I got a 66 mustang I got from my dad. I havne not seen it up close yet. But it has a 289, auto matic. Appears all original. Has hubcaps, and still has original air cleaner still. Things been sitting for years. So I assume to get it "drivable" for commutes I will have to change all fluids, re do breaks and 1st figure out why its not running.
Plans are to most likely rebuild the 289 and tranny c4?, and put a tract lok and new ring and pinion. Do the body work and DP 90/flat black it till I have time to fully restore it. Now Im wondering as I have a set of 99 cobra wheels laying around. What is needed to make those fit?
