Whats up guys? Just wanted to introduce myself, show you a few pics of my car. Its a 94 GT Coupe, I bought it in April with 28,127 miles on it. It is bone stock except for a CD player and a few billet goodies from Steeda. Ill be going back to school in a few weeks to Melbourne, FL...I know a few of you are from that area, hopefully I'll see you guys around. Let me know what you think...

WOW, I haven't seen a stock motor for so long I forgot what they looked like. You still have the air silencer on there???

That's a cool career path to take. Getting out into the real world was a little scarey, but it definitely has its plus sides!!! Again, welcome and that's a very clean looking car you have there!

Yeah, the air silencer is still on there. I want to leave the car stock for my first trip to Orlando Speed World when I get back to school. I figure Ill just take it off when I buy a fenderwell intake in a few months...

LOL
I was thinking the exact same thing when i read that.
I vote for buying an "ebay" cold air intake too. Actually it's made by a company called procarparts. Alot of people say to make a homemade cold air intake with pvc pipe which if done right comes out pretty nice looking, but unless you already have a K&N, and the pipe its actually cheaper to buy the ebay one.

Yeah, I've read all the posts on them in the past few months...I know I'm not going to buy a BBK or a MAC intake. I dont even know if I'm going to get one, I'm sure there are better things I can spend money on to make the car faster.

Found it at the local Ford dealer actually. I think there are too many Chevy boys around here to want a 5.0

Nice car, I love the Cobra hoods. If I could have afforded a 96-98 Cobra, that would have been awesome.

welcome aboard! I've learned a ton on here just by browsing around. Don't be afraid to ask any questions or to Private Message anyone, this is a good group of guys (and girl).

I think the best thing about these boards is that we get almost as excited to see other people mod their cars as when we mod our own car...

Wow a Newbie that does research insted of just spurting out questions when theres already 3 topics about something thats currently being discused.

I agree w/ you about spending your money elsewhere. It may only be $40 or $50 but then again a cold air intake dosent really do to much of anything at all. Id take the advise of the other guys on here and make your own courisity of your local Home Depot. I think you can make your own for around $20. The inside of your car is very clean, looks aweomse.
