Hey guys just wanted to introduce my self. Names Matt and currently own a 2001 gt. First got hooked on mustangs with an 88 fox.

So far car has full CAI, full length bbk long tubes, 3:73 gears, short shifter, lowering springs. And currently waiting for my FR500 17by9/17by10.5 rims with 275/315 tires to come in.

Looking forward to getting to know all you car nuts and sharing information.

Welcome!

Be careful who you call nuts around here...because some of us really are!

Anyway, welcome, if you have questions just ask...... Some people may say there is no such thing a stupid question. I beg to differ, there are stupid questions, but how else do you learn?

Welcome to the world of the 01 Mustang, it is a very strange place. 2001 was a transition year for the Mustang as they went from Windsor to Romeo engines, T-45 to TR-3650, changed the water pump, and some other little odds and ends. Make sure to memorize the build date on your door tag and double check before ordering parts that the site mentions 2001 as a transition year.

Other than that, get ready to be wowed by the Mod-motor. I started in out in 4-eye foxes and I'm in love with these engines now that I've ripped into them.

I agree specially with the mineral gray. I wasn't too fond of the paint color till I bought the car and I love it, specially with the black tint.

My new rims are machined but still have some black in them.
