Some of you may have seen my thread in the 94-95 section asking opinions about getting this car. Obviously I ended up getting it, but now I am undecided about the wheels. They are 17" Eleanor style wheels, with spinners that snap in where the center caps would. I cant say Ive ever seen them on another fox, and I think they work on the 4 eye body I guess. I just dont know if they give it the street machine look I am going to be going for during the car's restoration. What are you opinions? All I have are pics I took with my blackberry, cause my wife has our camera out of town. Sorry for the small size.

pics aren't that great, need bigger. I caint tell very good either is it still 4-lug ? I tried saving the pic and blowing it up but it gets too blurry so i'll reserve too many comments until I get a clear pic. would look sick with a set of Mach 1s.

Well Nick, those are what I called "Ben Hur spinners" (B.H.S.)on the car that I crashed.

They really can't be seen in your tiny-assed little pictures though, so I cant advise you until you get some bigger pics. From what I can see, it looks like a conflict w/ the spoke design of the wheel.

I think BHS's only "work" on slotted 60's style mag wheels, where they served as actual knock offs.

But like you, I am only offering the opinion because you asked for it.

P.S. I also think I like that hood scoop.

Bro, I dont have a clue what this means.

You guys are right about the pics, its hard to tell with them being so small. I'll get some bigger ones up when I have a camera. I like that the wheels are different, but after having 10.5" wheels with a big lip on the back of my '95, Im kind of partial to that look. These wheels have a 1" lip on them, so they arent flat like the S197 V6 wheels.

If I keep the wheels, I'll be keeping the fake spinners. The wheels dont look right without them. The scoop is the same one as yours, but I actually want to replace it with an '82 GT scoop. I actually dont want a scoop at all, but I have 6 holes in the hood to deal with.

Skunk, it has a 5 lug conversion w/ 4 wheel disks (13" rotors up front PBR calipers). I am open to wheel suggestions. Thinking about going up to 18's, just dont like the price of tires.

Thanks Boss, I couldnt pass up an '86 T-top car in my back yard. I had to sacrifice my '95 for it though.

I saw the old thread you made, and my opinion is the wheels can stay. Lose the scoop, and the side skirts...And if you change the wheels, please don't go with 18's.

Here are some similar pics in a bigger size.

Front wheel

Rear wheel

As you can see, the interior needs some work. The plastics are faded and rubbed raw, so I will probably end up painting them as much as I dont want to. Could go Tom's route and wrap them like he did the pace car. Not sure, but its a ways off so Im not too worried yet. The previous owner replaced the carpet, but its missing the center console and has the holes in the carpet... Not sure if I want to fab a console, or put in new carpet with no holes and leave the shifter poking up like a muscle car. Lots of things Im trying to plan out.

Also, I cant stand the pedals, especially because they have cobra's on them. Do the Bullit style pedal covers from 94-04 work on fox pedals?

The big hood scoop looks terrible IMHO.

The scoop is going bye bye as soon as I can find an '82 GT scoop. The '82 scoop is much shorter, and reversed and looks more like a buldge in the hood than a scoop. The previous owner bolted this scoop on, so I have holes to deal with. For some reason I just dont care for cowl hoods on 4 eyes, so Im going to be different from most by not putting one on.

I love the scoop....looks a lot like a Cougar Eliminator scoop. I like the wheels a lot, but not so much the spinners. If they had normal center caps they'd look very good on that car.

The spinners can be removed, and a normal center cap can be installed. mustang caps, like the 01-04 bullitt cap might fit.

I may try center caps, not sure. I went out and looked, and the scoop isnt even on straight. The back side of it is slightly off to the passenger side. I believe its a boss 429 scoop, which just doesnt fit the car well. A square '99 GT scoop would have been better, but Id rather just have the stock hood. I think Im gonna leave the wheels, just buy new tires and then use the rim money to change up the hood.
