Keep the wheels. They fit the car magnificently.

Im actually leaning toward that one a little. My first mustang was an '89 GT and had that hood on it. It would give my car a little nostalgia for me in that respect. I did find a cowl hood that I actually like (it gets wider as it goes back), but for some reason it just doesnt sit right in my mind. Figuring out the scoop is on crooked really makes me want to change the hood sooner rather than later.

I would've loved to find a Boss 429 scoop before i painted my car. I may eventually go that route and have another hood painted, cause i think i'm gonna need more hood clearance eventually (more than the GT scoop provides).

That car looks vaguely familiar... As if I've seen it somewhere before...

Side skirts definitely gotta go. Not sold on the hood scoop either.

Those wheels look like '05 V6 wheels, but those were 16" I thought...? Spinners are kind of unnecessary, but there are other things I'd focus on first, like the side skirts.

Now, I BELIEVE that hood is actually what Cervinis calls their "Ram Air" hood. The Storman Norman hood is the same thing, but it has a 2.5" raised cowl- notice that the one in the picture is more or less the normal height of the stock hood.

I LOVE the Ram Air hood, don't really car for the Storman Norman hood. The SN just looks awkward with it raised up 2.5" in the back. This is a SN hood:

Thanks for all the replies guys. This went from a wheel thread, to a hood thread really quick. If anyone wants the scoop, I'd practically give it to you after I buy a new hood. Nik, you are right on about the hood. I dont want the raised cowl style. As for removing the side skirts, it will leave three holes behind inside each door jamb. Luckily, they are not screwed in on the underside of the car though. I am going to focus in the interior first, as it is in rough shape. Once that is nice looking, and feels comfy, then I will focus on the exterior. I am forced to do the hood right away though, because I cant stand the messed up scoop. Oh, and I ordered a new Maglaflow catback, cause right now it has dumped flowmasters which sound dumb with a stock engine.

If it were me I'd remove the GT writing off the rear bumper. That looks tacky to me

did u go with the regular magnaflows or the magnapacks? I had the regulars on my stock engined 91 and they were almost too quiet even with an o/r mid pipe

Car looks good.

I like the scoop that is on there, kinda fits the theme of the car. Sucks they put it on crooked though. Ive never been a fan of the hood posted above, but thats just me.

Keep the updates coming.

Wheels look great I would not change them, I would however try a different style flat center cap over the spinners to see how that looks.

I love those wheels on that car! I would keep them.

Hell, I kind of like the scoop too. But since it's crooked, I agree with the ram air hood.
