just got an 1995 mustang convertible. has a 3.8 in it will be changing to 5.0 HO was looking for anyone that has been there and done that. what are the problems I can look forward to? what computer should i use ( after market programmable)? just started on the engine last night everything looks good. I was going to add headers, 1.7 rockers, port and polish, 70mm throttle body and cat back exhaust. just looking for thoughts. I live in Gaston Oregon 25 miles west of Portland.

Welcome to our site!! I'm sure you can find your answers here. I see you pointed out your engine mods, but nothing about the drive train. Are your swapping in a 8.8 rearend also ?

had not thought about it. you don't think the stock will handle the 5.0
