Hello all, I would like to introduce myself, my screen name is Jeasen. I am new to this site but not new to the Fox body Mustang. I have had several through the years but the most mods that I did in the past was gears and cold air intake. A week ago I traded for a 1994 GT 5-speed with a On3 turbo kit already installed. Since getting the car I have already got it to idle and hold a reasonable rpm, I have adjusted the clutch to my liking, and have ordered and installed a AEM wideband air/fuel ratio gauge. I have also ordered a set of 42# injectors for the car because the ones in the car are 24# and I do not think they will be adequate when the car is in boost.

I have not really stood on the car due to the size of the installed injectors. The car does not have a boost gauge (will be installing one soon) but according to the previous owner the waste gate is set at 8 pounds. After installing the wideband last night I took the car for a short drive to see what the air/fuel ratios were doing. The car was lean during idle and cruise but was plenty rich during mild acceleration. It will break the tires loose in third gear once the car goes into boost. I think it will be a fun car to drive once I get it tuned and running correctly.

I am sure that I will have many questions and I hope I will be able to answer some of your questions as well. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the stangnet community. Thanks, Jeasen

Welcome to Stangnet!

I'd install a boost gauge right away. It's a very easy gauge to install. Just use a vacuum "T" and tap into the line going to the fuel pressure regulator or other vacuum line around there.

If the previous owner didn't get a tune for it I'd also suggest getting it dyno tuned before you do any WOT runs. Don't risk damage to the motor when it can be avoided. If it's too lean that's a recipe for disaster. I've destroyed a ring due to WOT and seriously lean condition. It went lean over a $.50 brass fitting and a faulty Vortech inline fuel pump.

Happy reading. Check out the 94-95 Sticky in the Tech section.

Here are a few pictures of the engine. The car is sitting in the driveway now covered in snow. Please see my post in the tech section and help me diagnose and fix my engine vibration problems. Thanks, Jeasen

Welcome to stangnet. Just for future help, this website doesn't do well with attached pictures. Hosting from a website like photobucket works a ton better.
