ok guys here is what i got it is a 1988 ford thunderbird turbo coupe 5 speed and it is bone stock from what i can tell so what are some of the cheap ways to make this car run mid 13s to faster then a 14.6 thanks all i am new to the turbo worlds i buld v8s all the time but this is my bros car and he want to be able to beat my freinds 5.0

boost valve, Down pipe, switch to a T3 turbo, front mount intercooler. Timing, K&N, pullies, porting never hurt anything. 
A 3" exhaust helps a LOT and it sounds awesome too 
Also put on some kind of a cold air intake with a cone filter, and a shifter helps a lot too. On my car the only performance mods I have currently are a cold air intake, 3" exhaust, a shifter, and a gillis valve (although it's only at 16 psi) and it runs pretty good and will easily chirp the tires into second gear. I'm working on a new engine though, I know I'm losing boost in this engine (pretty sure the rings aren't sealing and the valve stem seals are shot, along with 100 oil leaks)
