Below are some pics of my new toys. These are for my new 427 Buildup. Question is do they perform like they are supposed too? They are kinda new to the market... Also is a pic of the special valve covers and pushrods needed with them.

I also threw in a pic of my deep sump fuel tank with cover. It has -12 AN fittings and is supposed to be good for up to 2000 hp if needed.

All i have left is to order the spyder intake, the kooks headers, and the blower and all the other little crap like tb, maf, injectors etc.

Also today while i was at the car show i got an offer on my car. I am still in shock. This forien guy (maybe kroacion?) kept asking me if my car was for sale.. I kept saying no and he would go look at it again and come back and ask again. Finally he comes up and goes I WILL GIVE YOU $25,000 for it.. I kinda gasp and say i guess it is for sale. His female friend that was with him asked him why are you going to buy this you just bought a car earlier this week. HE was like never you mind! We got to talking a little and he had bought a 2000 trans-am with 9000 miles on it early this week. He said it has never seen rain or snow. I got to see the car.. It was VERY CLEAN!!!

He is coming later this week to look at it. He sounded like he wanted it pretty bad. We will see. I have put a lot of money and work into that car so i don't think i could take less then 25 for it, but i never thought anybody would actually buy it..

IF... this goes through its time to find another snl95 and start off new... And with 25000 i think i can make something insane with it.

BTW: The funniest thing is my girlfriend who i thought hates my car was upset that i was even thinking of selling it.. Liking crying upset.

Nice parts!

But the foreigner sounds like a scammer.
Tell him $25,000 cash only.
yeah, the money will be cleared through the bank before anybody does ANYTHING.

Its a win win situation for me. Either i start over or i keep my car, it would be a blast to start over but on the other hand there was a lot of little tedious stuff i wouldn't look forward to again.

As far as the heads go... Yeah they are supposed to flow as much or more then a lot of big block heads. Im kinda taking a chance with them because there really isn't many reviews out, but i think i will have enough cubes to go with them.

WOW! How much $$ do you have in your car?... if you don't mind me asking. The general concept is "at least 20% of the $$$ spent on a car will never be seen again". "Sentimental value" is what gets to me, though. When I get finished with my car .... it will probably never see another owner until I pass.

BTW, the 427W is "THE ULTIMATE" of the ultimate. You are the man!

Well i have been trying to figure up how much money i have in the car including the original purchase. I have come up with a almost 29,000 so far. I can't beleieve i have that much in it but i keep on finding more things. But mind you that includes the price for all parts brand new and the orignal purchase price almost 4 years ago.

Big things: Paint job, supercharger kit, stroker motor, TKO600 swap w/everything needed, PMS, Stereo, and original purchase price. That there adds up to a little over 20k. Add all your little bolt on stuff, suspension, wheels, exhaust, etc... WOW I HAVE A LOT OF MONEY IN MY CAR!!!

But i did sell a lot of the stuff i had swapped so its not quite as bad as it seems...

So its around a 14 - 15% loss... not terriable but at one point today i thought i was making money.

I never sat down & figured up what my future car will cost...... but now, I just broke out into a cry....

I'd jump on it. Then get a notch and drop that 427 in there with a power glide. (even though I like the SN95 better). You'd have enough $$ left to get a nice '94-'95 Cobra to drive around......

$25,000 is just barely worth it IMO. For that money what can you buy that will be faster and in better shape than what you already have?

I paid $14,000 for my car and then I have put another $15,000+ into it plus 100 hours of labor. I would never sell it for $25,000. I could maybe buy a 03 Cobra and make it mean as hell for that price, but personally I would rather have a 95GT than a 2003 Cobra.

Your 427 will be insane. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

You and JR (94TURBO) need to get together and go bowling. You and him change more things on your car then underwear.
I seem to remember when you were supercharged... And then you had started a 408 prodject i thought?

If he has cash, and you don't love your car, and keep the parts in the pics, you'll never get what you want out of a modified car.

Either way, that car will be FFFFFFFFFFFast ...

kinda confused on what you said but yeah my 427 is staying right HERE.

S/CBlack95GT : Well for me i enjoy working on my car. The car itself is nice and everything but i will never get a chance like this i doubt (if he doesn't smarten up by the end of the week). I know every thing i did wrong with this vehicle. I can start new and not waste my money on some things and put it towards other things i know are effective. It would be kinda like working for the show pimp my ride but i keep the car after its done and the paint job isn't so cheap...

Yeah its kinda scary.. I will have to keep that in mind. Or get me a start on an ELENOR or something?

sweet man!!! i never knew jegs made heads? how are they supposed to be

Jon Kaase had suspossably been working on this for many years now. The Test Results given were great, but its kinda easy to doctor any test results.

These are a 247 cc intake runners(comparable to AFR's Biggest SBF head wich is 225. Those don't mean everything of coarse.

Here is a whole article about them from Jeg's. http://www.jegs.com/photos/jegskaase.html
When these came out they waited till they got enough orders to send them out. Kinda like a cheap way to envest, as soon as you know you have enough interest actually start making them. So there was a lot of specualtion on them and people were waiting for months. There is a long post about these at HARDCORE50 but it amounted to this: ITs not fare to compare these heads to most others because their canted valve heads, and if Jon Kaase put his name on them they are probably going to RUN!!!

there is an article in one on my HOT ROD mag's somewhere i remember reading about those heads, they made some serious power,

they are around 850$ each though right.....

They are $800 each assybled. Thats a lot but when you compare it to the price on a set of AFR 225's ($1900+) its not that bad.

But your kinda forced to pay for thier valve covers and pushrods 130 + 130 for a grand total of 1860, but you have heads valve covers and pushrods for under the price of a set of 225's...
