Damn theres been a bunch of tune related threads lately. Oh well, here is my idea. I currently have the SF sniper and while I do love it I just do not have the time to mess around with it. So what I think I'm going to do is switch to an SCT tuner and the 4-bank chip seen here SCT Mustang Performance Chips at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!.
The reason I want the 4-bank is because of the juice. I want to be able to switch tunes on the fly for the spray and back to either a 87-93 octane tune. I think that will give me the most versatility. So I'll be able to go from extremely conservative to a full aggressive tune and everything in the middle. Anyways right now it's just an idea. Any input?

I'd agree - a flip chip is the way to go...does Sniper not have such an option?

Ya know I didn't even think to look. I'm an idiot. For some reason I don't think they do, but I'm going to check right now. If so that'd be great.

Here is the link Delta Force Tuning - Complete Automotive Ford tuning products and programmers. It looks like they have a 6 position chip. Sniper is now Delta force tuning. They had to change the name for some reason.

Only problem with an SCT flip chip is you won't have the luxury of tweaking your tune like you would with a handheld.

Well damn! I remember now that they were changing, but forgot what the new site was. Well I think since I already have the SF, I'll go with thier chip. Thats awesome. It'll be nice to have seperate tunes that I can switch from without having to break out the tuner.
