Washed it up during lunch and found a nice location to do my "quick" shoot... BTW, lowering springs and rear wheel spacers are not installed yet... Another thing, car has not seen wax yet because the paint is only a week old...

Enjoy!!!

Old pics for reference:

Interesting color choice. Where did you find it? I like the wheels. Big improvement.

Just noticed but did you fill some of the letters in the bumper? Looks like it just says Stang now. I think it would look killer with black bumper inserts.

Thanks guys!

Wheels are 17x9 KMC/Hotwheels Sixty-Eights... Polished... I should have gotten 17x8's for the front, but they are on a 4 week back order!

As for tires I'm running 245/45 up front and 275/45 in the back...

Anyhow the lowering springs will be going on asap, but the struts bolts are damn near fused!

The paint is GM Sunburst Metallic Orange, but I call mine Sunburnt, because I have a little darker texture. I have yet to see this color on a Stang that's why I chose it...

Oh by the way, anyone notice my "STANG" bumper!

I have always liked those models with the Cobra front. Looks much better than it did. I believe I will copy your paint choice. Thanks

Sure did... It just says Stang... It still needs inserts. I also needs new corner reflectors and a new third brake light... Not sure I want to go with clear (reflectors and 3rd brake light) or the factory (reflectors and 3rd brake light)...

How did you do it b/c the "stang" looks centered? Thanks.

I dont think clear would look that great really. Maybe on the sides but not the 3rd brake light. Would have been cool if you could have filled those too and not even used them. Nice sleek look.

You mind if I ask how much you paid for all the body work and painting? Your make me want to get that hood and bumper now.

If you look at your bumper or any mustang GT the stang is centered. he just filled the rest of the letters.

MUSTANG GT

I filled in the MU and the GT with bondo and reinforced it with fiberglass... Even with the space between NG GT, Ford made the whole phrase centered so it worked out perfectly!

I did all the body work myself even filling the bumper in and removing the Ford trunk emblem... I had no dents so that was a plus... I paid $811 for the paint and for the painter to shoot it.

Also I tried to work on filling in the side reflectors but if you look at our bumpers they have a funky shape and a funky feel to them at those reflectors... To many edges, it's kind of hard to describe. Anyhow I couldn't get it smooth and proper looking so scrapped all the work I did on them...
