35th Anniv newbie 35th anniversary question

Hello, I am a new guy and I have read through various threads on the 35th anniversary questions. I even saw that VOORHEES had resigned from this. I am still going to try and see if the 1999 Mustang gt I recently acquired is just a regular GT or is a Limited edition. I want to do some modifications but if its a limited edition I will not and get it back to original as much as possible. I took some pictures and I have the VIN 1FAFP42XXXF214868

Thank you
Everett

It's got the right parts on it to be a true anniversary edition.

On the interior, the gauge cluster bezel, silver door coloring, and the seats are what would be in a true 99th anniversary edition.

Exteriorwise, not enough pics to tell. But the hood scoop is the correct anniversary scoop (slightly different from the 01-04 scoop) along with the black matte decal. Would need more pics to be able to tell as the side scoops, rear spoiler and decklid applique are all unique, as well as the wheels. Its also the correct red that an anniversary car would have been.

The grill is aftermarket. This would normally have a standard 99-04 GT grill.

ANy more pics of the exterior?

Yup. Correct rear wing (lacking the character line that 01-04 wings have) rear deck lid trim and correct side scoops.

The original wheels are missing. They are a special polished version of the standard 99 painted 17" wheels. A little tough to find.

But yeah, other than the wheels your car appears to have all the correct 35th anniversary parts on it.
