Newbie from LaGrangeville, NY

Hi Guys, new to this forum and been looking at some of the most beautiful Foxes. I bought an 84 GT 5.0 Hatchback in May 1986 with 19,000 miles, I was 30 years old. I had so much fun with that car back in the day, couldn't believe that H.O. 302 5.0 could run that fast with the ac on, I was hooked. So much so, that in August 1987 my wife and I purchased an 85 GT 5.0 Convertible. We still own both of them, convertible is garaged with 65,000 miles, my 84 had to endure outside storage. I'm looking forward to communicating with all of you, and thank you for allowing me to participate.

Potomus Pete, yes I am glad I hung on to both of them, even though my better half had wanted me to off the 84 Hatch. I told her the two reasons I couldn't and wouldn't sell it was one, it was my 30th birthday present to myself and two, I brought my daughter home from the hospital after she was born. That smooshed it over, haven't heard I should sell it for the past 15 years. I have a bit of work to do on it, being stored outdoors.

Will post interior pics of the 84 as soon as I can, a question, what are airboxes? I'll post them in the 79-93 Forum, now remember, it's been stored outside under a cover, so it'll be a bit ugly. I haven't driven it since 1994.
The air box came on the EFI cars, 86 up. Yours will have a carb and conventional air cleaner.
