Ok I have a 302 that the PO told me came out of a Granada. He showed me the mild mods he made to the car but he never got around to putting new headers on it. Stock manifold on it now. I went online and looked for 302 tri-ys and found quite a few of them but some of them say they will fit 65-70 289 and 302s. I don't know if there is a difference and wanted to ask. I always thought a 302 was a 302 with the exception of the smog stuff they did to the heads and stuff in the 70s. I am just looking for something I can bolt on. Looks like 2 1/4 pipes the rest of the way back by the way.

same head as other 302's so theyu fit Ok

the bolt mounting pattern on the head is the same whether the 302 is out of a Granada or a Mustang.
The Tr-Y will fit, as will a Long Tube header. They have different uses, depending on what it is you are after.
If the car has Power Steering, then you need to order the Power Steering relocate Bracket with the headers. This moves the slave cylider mounting down a bit & out of the way of the headers.

Hope this helps

It's just a cruiser. Just trying to let it breathe a little better and I don't have power steering.
