help with a piston question(long one)
New to the board here, just wondered if someone could help me out. I have a 5.0 roller that i think is an 86 but not sure. I got the motor with the car when i bought it and it was rebuilt by the previous owner. The heads say E6SE which are the "bad" 86 heads right? The pistons say E6ZE-6110-BA and i am now wondering if they are overbored or if they are the stock ones? the bores are in real good shape so i figure the bored it out but I dont have a caliper to measure. i tried to decode the part but all i figure out is that it is a 86 mustang piston. should i pull the engine out and start all over or will this short block do? sorry this is so long but i just want to find out if i should plan on getting new pistons along with new heads. I plan on running nitrous so keep this in mind but i dont want to break the bank. thanks in advance for your help.
