Hey guys I have a question about the ford 302 that came with the mustang. I don't know much about the engine so exuse my foolish question about it.

Is the engine electronicly fuel injected ?? Which years was it carb vs EFI ?? or was the 5L ever EFI ??

Hopefully you guys can help as You've answered my questions in the past

EFI with speed density 86-88
EFI with MAF 88 california cars, all 89-95

True EFI started in 1986, but it had CFI (central fuel injection) in Automatic 5.0L 1984/85.

What year is your Mustang? Earlier cars were carburated, later CFI, later with speed density/EFI, later mass air/EFI. '88 California cars had mass air whereas everywhere else sold speed density.

alright one last follow up is there a listing of engines and their performance. Like that says like 80-85 carb engines had XXhp and XXlbstrq

I don't own a mustang yet
