I am sure one person can answer these two questions:

1. Is the "Fastback" Mustang and the "2+2" Mustang one in the same?

2. If not, what are those differences?

Thanks all :flag: ,

To rephrase what cobain03 tried to say. 2+2 is a designation meaning, 2 seats in front 2 seats in back. It is the official designation used by Ford to identify the 65-66 Mustang "fastback" body style. Fastback was a term used by Ford initally to describe the "new" 63 1/3 Galaxie & Falcon Sprint hard tops. Later the term is widely used to describe acar with a long sloping rear window area.

Why would they use that to define the fastback,Doesn't the coupe have two seats up front and two in the back? Wouldn't that apply for it too? Just more dunb newbie questions.
