NEWBIE with a header problem

Hi guys,

I'm running PRO LIGHTNING GT40 heads on my 342 stroker. The problem is that the spark plug on the drivers side and at the front of the engine (#5 I think) intrudes on my tri-y headers. I have a friend with Tri-y's running on his 302 with no problem, but his heads are trick flows......

I have tweaked, dented, customized the tube to get around the plug, but it can't be good for unobstructed breathing. Does anyone have any experience with this situation and better yet a solution????

GT40 Heads require special headers because they have a different plug angle.

Stan's headers worked for me. Thay have a web site.
